Hunter's 1st Birthday Party!

Hunter had one person there his age! This ia a busy time of year to plan a party!


He kept looking at me like he was waiting for to to tell him to stop making a mess.

Hunter is one today! I can't believe my baby is growing up so fast!

Icy Roads!

We started home today, but we ran into some really bad weather and roads. I really got worried when I noticed that the semi trucks were creeping along, on Interstate 70 at five miles per hour with their flashers on. We were about a half hour from Mike's mom and dad's house so we turned around and headed back. It's amazing how cautious you are when you have two kids in the back seat to worry about! We'll try it again tomorrow!

Trip to the ER!

Hunter started having cold symptoms at my mom's this past weekend. Then we got to Mike's mom and dad's and he started running a temperature. I took him to the ER and after waiting for 4 hours we found out that he has double ear infection. He is on antibiotic and is sleeping better at night. For that I am thankful!

Children's Museum

We are in Waynesburg PA and will be here until the end of the week! Monday Teddy, Russie, Hunter, and I went to the Pittsburg Children's Museum. It was fun.

Her are a couple pics of the boys! I was trying to get a good pic of the boys for my Christmas cards, but I didn't realize how much harder it is to get two kids to look at you at the same time with good expressions on their face. Teddy was tired of sitting there smiling while I tried to get Hunter to look at me and Hunter just totally ignored me after a while and started eating leaves. It was sooo cute he would try to put one in his mouth and it would tickle his face and he would start laughing. I did get a good one out of twelve pictures, but I'm not posting that one until after my Christmas cards have been received!

10th Anniversary!

Mike and I have been married for 10 YEARS! In some ways it seems like a long time ago and in other ways it seem like only yesterday! Time flies when your having fun!:)

I'm Stuck!

Hunter took his nap today and I heard him playing after he woke up. I then heard him wailing and I wondered what had went wrong. I arrived in the room to find that both of his legs were stuck in the rails. My poor son had to wait while I grabbed the camera to take a pic!:)

Teddy's Birthday!

This is a little late, but these days I'm running behind in everything, so why not my blogging too?


Teddy had been asking for a Nintendo DS for his birthday! I got quite a good deal on it and all the accessories in the spring so I bought it then and saved it for five months until his birthday. That was hard for me to do! I didn't think much about the order in which he was opening his presents and in this pic he had just opened a game for the DS. That was quite the give away!

We had Hunter dedicated Sunday! My mom, Gene, and my nephew Canaan stopped by on their way from vacation! Mike's mom, dad. and Gramma were also able to come. I was nervous as to what Hunter would do since he is already nine months, but he did good!

Leaving Today!

Wv holds some wonderful memories for me! This is the place that I spent 14 years of my life! No matter where I live I think I will always feel like I am going home when I head for the hills of WV. Not saying that I would ever want to live there again, but there is just a feeling that I can't explain when I start seeing familiar landmarks that I remember from my childhood. Then when I arrive at the last home I ever shared with my dad, the memories just overwhelm me. It's like I just went on a trip and left him there and he's going to be waiting for me. I wouldn't trade the memories I have for the world! Going to Wv for me is more than just a trip or a nice vacation spot. For me it's the place that holds all the memories of my precious daddy! Almost Heaven West Virginia!

Cool Cat!

I bought hunter these cool shades that velcro behind his head. When i put them on him he moves his head all around! Must be trying to figure out why everything got dark all of a sudden!

Hunter's First Haircut!

I know Hunter is only 8 months, but he had hair hanging down over his ears that was almost to the bottom of his ear. He did really good. I just gave him something to play with and he sat very still. This is a picture before the haircut!
