Mike's mom was moved yesterday to rehab in Washington, PA! This is alot closer than traveling to Pittsburg everyday! She is doing alot better and depending on how she does in rehab she will home in 2-4 weeks. Thanks to everyone who prayed for her!
Mike's mom is in the step down unit. She is off the ventilator and they may take the feeding tube out today! Thank the Lord! She was able to take a short walk yesterday. Things are improving!
Mike's mom had to be put on the ventilator. They did an MRI on her and after laying on her back for 45 minutes her breathing really became and issue. They have tried to take her off the vent one time and had to put it back in. They are keeping it on until her lungs heal. They may try to remove it again today and if she dosen't do well they will put a trac in so the irritating tube down her throat can come out. They are putting a feeding tube in today. She hasn't been able to eat since Sat. so they need to give her some nourishment. She is heavily sedated but they do cut back on the sedation to check her every couple hours. She does respond to the nurses and is able to move her limbs as instucted and shake her head yes or no to questions they ask. Please continue to remember her in your prayers!
Please continue to remember Mike's mom. She had her surgery and there are quite a few complications. She is still in ICU. They are working with her blood pressure because it had been quite high and she is still on 80% oxygen. please remember Mike's dad he is really having a hard time dealing with everything.
Please remember my mother in law today. She is having a tumor removed from her petuatary gland which is at the base of her brain.
